On 19th June, three of Prism’s staff ran the race for life at Tatton Park, Cheshire, raising over £600 for Cancer Research UK. Last year, HR manager Lucy Robinson, Finance Controller Carol Shore and Chief Operating Officer Carol Hills, took part in the 5k event; this year they decided to set the bar higher and took part in the 10k event. The team all completed the distance in just over an hour, but although very proud of their achievements, are glad that there isn’t a longer event to attempt next year!
The charity event is part of ongoing fund raising activity at Prism Ideas. Monthly cake and dress down days provide healthy competition in cake baking (no shop-bought products are allowed!). Money raised from paying £1 to wear casual dress and eat cake is being collected throughout the year and will be donated to charity at Christmas.
