In the name of a good cause, Carol H, Carol S, Lucy and Rachel dug out their trainers and joined 3,800 other women taking part in the Race for Life at Tatton Park on Saturday 19th June. The weather was kind, the sun shone and after a slightly uncoordinated warm-up session they were off. All four of the Prism team completed the 5km in fantastic times and despite some gritted teeth over a particularly steep finish, managed to keep smiling throughout! A great day was had by all and the team will be back next year to raise more money for Cancer Research UK; they are even considering tackling the 10km race next time round. Thanks to a donation from Prism Ideas as well as friends and family, the ladies have raised around £700 so far and are still collecting sponsorship.
